What to Expect

New Patient Info

Everything you need to know before your first visit to The People's Chiropractic.

Before your visit

Your first appointment really begins before you arrive. Once you've booked, we'll send you a new patient form to complete in your own time — covering your health history and what's brought you in. By the time you walk through the door, we already understand your story, so your appointment can be spent focused entirely on you.

Your first appointment

Your initial consultation takes around 45–60 minutes. We'll talk through your history together and get to know you — what's brought you in, your goals, and what you'd like to get back to doing. From there, we use hands-on tests and assessment to understand what's going on and how best to help.

In most cases we're able to begin treatment the same day. You'll leave with a clear picture of what we've found and how we'll move forward together.

What to Bring
  • Any relevant scans or medical reports
  • Your Medicare card (if applicable)
  • Your private health fund card (for on-the-spot claiming)
  • Comfortable clothing you can move in
Finding us

We're on the first floor of 9/78 Glenhaven Road. There's no lift access — if stairs are difficult for you, let us know and we'll do our best to help. On-site parking is available.

Health Fund Rebates

All our services are claimable on private health (if you have the appropriate extras cover). We use HICAPS to process your rebate on the spot — you just pay the gap.

Medicare Patients

If you have a current Chronic Disease Management (EPC) plan from your GP, we can see you under Medicare. You pay the full fee on the day, and we process your Medicare rebate on the spot before you leave — so you're only out of pocket for the gap.

WorkCover & Motor Vehicle Claims

We can see patients under WorkCover and motor vehicle accident (CTP) claims. If you're being treated under either, let us know when you book and bring your claim details so we can set things up correctly.

Our welcoming waiting area — wicker chairs and bench
