Frequently Asked Questions

Your questions, answered

If there's something we haven't covered, give us a call on 1300 697 062 — we're happy to chat.

Do I need a referral from my GP?+
No referral is required to see any of our chiropractors or massage therapists. If you have a Chronic Disease Management plan from your GP, we can see you under Medicare — otherwise you can just book directly.
Can I use private health insurance?+
Yes — all of our services are claimable on private health (if you have the relevant extras cover). We use HICAPS to process your rebate on the spot so you only pay the gap.
Can I use Medicare?+
Yes — if you have a current Chronic Disease Management (EPC) plan from your GP, you can claim up to five allied health visits for chiropractic per calendar year. You pay the full fee on the day and we process your Medicare rebate on the spot before you leave.
What does an appointment cost?+
Fees vary depending on the type and length of your appointment. Current pricing for each appointment type is shown in our online bookings, or give us a call on 1300 697 062 and we'll happily talk you through it.
What happens at your first appointment?+
Your first appointment runs around 45–60 minutes. We'll talk through your history, current symptoms and goals, then perform a thorough assessment. In most cases this includes treatment on the day — and you'll leave with a clear picture of what we've found and a care plan for moving forward.
Does every treatment involve an adjustment?+
An adjustment is just one of the techniques we use — treatment is never one-size-fits-all. Depending on what you need and what you're comfortable with, your care might involve gentle mobilisation, soft tissue work, instrument-assisted techniques, dry needling or stretching, either alongside manual adjustments or instead of them. We'll always talk you through your options and adapt to what suits you.
How many sessions will I need?+
This varies from person to person — it depends on your diagnosis and how your body responds to treatment. After your assessment we'll give you a recommendation for managing your concern, though the number of sessions ultimately depends on how your body responds along the way.
Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?+
Yes — chiropractic care during pregnancy is safe, gentle and effective. We use pregnancy-specific techniques to ease back pain, pelvic discomfort and postural tension. Treatment can also help prepare your body for birth and support a more comfortable postpartum recovery. Our chiropractors and massage therapists use specialised pregnancy pillows so you can lie comfortably throughout.
Can I book a shorter or longer massage appointment?+
Our standard remedial massage appointment is 60 minutes. We also offer shorter and longer sessions depending on what you need — a 30-minute appointment often suits children, for example. If you'd like a different length, give us a call to discuss your options.
